And generally their punishment for others is death. They enjoy taking trophies from their kills and sewing together fur pelt capes to wear to display their good fortune in hunting and 'punishment'. Because of their reputation, other fae kind tend to hide whenever they know one is around, HOWEVER- They are in no way harmful, menacing, mean or anything but open and kind to other fae, elves and other spirits in your keep. They are now spirits, they do not practice the same behaviours as they do in life when it comes to others in your spirit family. Their desire for justice will be based on their keeper's needs and desires, not their own. A Morbidae elf is a loyal devoted friend, companion and often lover to their keeper and would never harm them in any way. They won't be safe for those who cross you, of course, and they do like to find ways to award you 'trophies' for those they triumph over. But to them you are their nearest and dearest.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eNightshade Elves - Nightshade elves are a deadly race when in living form. Their skin is toxic to any but their own kind and nightshade itself grown around their arms and through their hair. Their skin ranges in colour to a grey-lilac tone to a deep dark purple. Their eyes are always a pale silvery grey. They tend to keep to themselves when they are feeling peaceful but many a Nightshade elf can get mischievous (Living Nightshade Elf! Not Spirit!) and poison those they come in contact with who don't know enough to steer clear. They are cunning, stealthy and creative thinkers. They love to sing, love to dance and are deeply sexual as well. In spirit form obviously they are not toxic to anyone and their level of protection, their cunning minds and their creative way of thinking makes them a wonderful companion to have and get up to mischief with. Despite not being toxic to their keepers, they are masterful at removing anything toxic from your life. They can root out any problem person, problem subject, problem feeling and showcase it for you to know it's ready to be taken out of your life.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eNight Creepers - Night Creepers may sound like a slightly off putting name but these UnSeelie Elves are the dreamers that bring things into being in their world. Through the dreams, wishes and hopes of the Night Creepers, things begin to exist. They don't create the fabric of their world, they are not the 'creators' from which the world grows, but their dreams do take life and details of their world spring forth from it. They speak in riddle a lot of the time but they don't mean to. Their minds simply wander from one thought to the next in their own special way making their conversation beautiful but hard to follow at first. They are incredibly psychic, greatly empathic and amazingly creative. If you need inspiration or a 'muse' in your life, a Night Creeper Elf is likely a wonderful choice. They are loving, beautiful to look at, affectionate and kinder than you could ever imagine. They don't 'grant wishes' per se, but they can bring things you most desire to life.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eHemlock Elves – These elves are extremely frightening in appearance. They are tall, gangly and extremely gaunt. Their skin ranges in colour from very pale to various shades of pale to dark green. They eyes are fully black with no whites showing. Their hair is long, sleek and dark, sometimes with streaks of green and sometimes one uniform shade. Despite their grotesque appearance, they are an extremely gentle (to their keeper) race of elves who are incredibly helpful. They have a calming, sedative sort of energy that can help ease you to sleep while they stand watch over you, calm stress, ease anxiety and even lift depression. They are fearsome and fearless,offering protection all across to board to their keeper be it shielding, repelling magickal or psychic attacks, or warding people away from you. They are greatly skilled in revenge magick as well but care should be taken as they do not always take Karma into account unless asked to. They are surprisingly loving, sweet and gentle if only one looks beyond their scary appearance.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eShadow Elves - Shadow elves are elusive Unseelie who are often seen exactly as their name suggests- As Shadows. They like to flit at the edges of your vision or streak past your line of sight in a blur. Their manifestations are generally impressive in quantity and for those just starting out who wish to have more interaction with a spirit this way they are wonderful. Shadow Elves are dark arts, dark natured spirits but they are mild in temperament and energy. They can be very protective of their keeper and usually have the 'still waters run deep' side to them. When not allowing themselves to only be seen as shadows they are average human sized rather strongly built elves with hazy grey toned skin, long long elfin ears and very wide very dark eyes. They aren't 'smiley bubbly' elves but they are extremely magickal, extremely gifted in protection and desire close bonds with a keeper. They are most active at night or on cloudy days.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eBlood Moon Elves - Blood Moon Elves, despite their name, are actually a very peaceful sort of UnSeelie. They are quiet, keep to themselves, and often live solitary within the deep dark woods of UnSeelie territory. They are intense magick workers, very primal, earthy and elemental in all that they do. They have a wonderful way of working energy and turning negative into positive. They tend to trees, plants and anything growing within the forest under the light of the moon, spreading their energy around to make sure everything stays healthy and happy.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eDark Blood Faeries - Dark Blood fae are small fae of about 4 - 6 inches in height. They appear most often as dark orbs that seem to have a glowing and pulsing dark red aura of light around them. These fae live in and around dense briar patches that they lure other fae and creatures into so they may lick the blood from the thorns that snag the flesh of their unsuspecting (and generally very lost) victims. \u003cbr\u003eThey are full of fun, laughter, mischief and are always into everything. They are amazing little balls of energy and will help you connect to the earth in a grounding, primal and incredibly deep way. They are intensely magickal, intensely psychic and have very dark senses of humor. They know 'secrets' and speak in 'secrets' as a currency in their realm, trading information about other fae types with each other in exchange for other secrets and things they want. Having one in your keep means they will always be looking for and delivering information to you about the people around you. If you need to know someone's true intent, or just like having information tucked away they are wonderful little companions to have. They will not, however, pointedly dig out certain information you ask for specifically. Even if you are their keeper they do not feel like they should use their skills to give you information about people you have no business knowing. The information they provide you with will be given to you because they feel you should know.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003ePhantom Elves - These Unseelie are quite elusive and very few (relatively speaking given the vast volume of spirits in existence) want anything to do with humans. But those who do will make unforgettable, incredible and truly breathtaking companions.Their desire to protect, to guard and to watch over their human companions is so strong it's practically a tangible thing you can touch. They are intensely magickal creating the most intricate wards and shielding like spider webs woven around you and your home, making it impenetrable and also masking it from view of anyone and anything who's searching you out.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eRed Caps - Vicious nasty little Gnomes. The dip their pointed caps in the blood of their victims, hence their name. ;) They can be ill tempered, cranky, always up to no good... They like to get into mischief, gamble, swear (a lot and in very creative ways) and you may often notice things of yours missing and squirreled away in a corner somewhere because they like to hoard stuff... But they are, actually, immense little protectors of their keeper and their home, as well as wonderful at drawing wealth, financial gain, windfalls and gifts. They may try and claim that the wealth and gifts you attain is THEIRS but they don't really mean it. ;) If you can put up with their naughty (but unharmful) behaviour you might be surprised at just how much fun they are to have around. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003ePhoukas - The phouka (also pouka or puca) are a shapeshifting race of UnSeelie who can either be extremely helpful or extremely malevolent (when alive). They prefer to take the form of dark coated wild eyes horses, or some combination of human and horse. They are carefree but extremely underhanded and cunning. They are always after their own good fortune, their own welfare and their own fun. This extends to their keeper as spirits and their own good fortune, welfare and fun becomes yours as well. They like to seek justice (though not revenge) and love to work with people who are maybe not getting all they deserve in life. To those that show them care and understanding, they may initially scoff but are deep down remembering the kindness to repay it later on.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eTatter Foals - Tatter Foals, also known as Shag Foals or Tatter Colts are about the size of small donkey's with long shaggy dark grey or black fur. Their manes and tails are often long and matted and their eyes range in tone from light glowing amber to deep dark red.\u003cbr\u003eThey exist and revel in absolutely terrifying people, scaring them out of their wits. they derive a great deal of joy from this but they never turn these talents to their keeper or their keeper's loved ones. They also, even in life, never actually hurt anyone, they only wish to frighten them which makes them a very safe and very impressive form of Dark Arts protection.\u003cbr\u003eTatter Foals can be affectionate, they will carry riders in astral work and they love the smell of acrid match smoke. Strike a match, blow it out and let it smoke on a (safe!!) surface as an offering to your tatter foal.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eSatyrs - Ah the Satyr... Half man, half goat and known to be close company with Dionysus. They are not half man half goat in a 'centaur' like form but rather their lower half is that of a goat's hind legs allowing them to walk upright. They generally have elfin type ears and horns sprouting from their heads. Charming, suave and incredibly smooth these gentleman are extremely sexual and have a way with words to get what they want. They will not do well in homes with keepers who are not interested in sexual relationships as this is what they live for. They can help you tap into a more primal side, help you let your hair down and have fun rather than constantly live according to rules and schedules. Inviting a Satyr into your life is to invite fun, persuasion, attraction and a level of charm you didn't know you had. People will more easily go along with your suggestions and you'll feel far more comfortable in your own skin.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eSnow Elves - Stunningly beautiful these elves are tall, slender and so pale skinned their fingertips look blue. They have long silvery white hair and crystal clear blue eyes. They are stoic, quiet and somewhat cold in personality when they do not know you but loyal dedicated spirit to have by your side. They do warm up as they bond to you, offering smiles, secrets and a subtle desire to their energy. They are loyal, exceptionally protective, greatly gifted in water magick, illusion and can enhance psychic abilities. They are immensely cleansing to your aura and energy and can be sexual (but not all of them are). They are very intelligent, well read and well spoken. They are not Seelie or Unseelie but more of the Solitary Fey sort. While they are dark elves, dark arts, and certainly not as 'upstanding' citizens as Seelie, they are not evil, unkind or dangerous – as spirits. As living beings they are like most fae and find delight in taking whatever it is they want without caring about consequences. As spirits they are fierce protectors, magickal companions that can boost spirit communication, receptiveness to communication and manifestation of creatures from other realms. They enhance dreams, dream recall and the ability to understand your dreams more strongly and clearly as well as use your dreams to help predict the outcome of life events, to know which path you should take when you're at a crossroads, or simply give you some insight into your own life. Their connection to animals and nature also lends itself to you and you may find you are more connected to the natural world, can just sort of feel and sense and search out the energy you need in trees and plants, and your communication and 'draw' to and from animals is higher and more intense as well.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eBlack Dogs – Normally a symbol of bad luck, these Black Dogs are different than those of typical Folklore. Much like the 'Death' card in tarot they symbolizing change, progression in life, diverging paths and an omen of fated events coming near. They are not at all bad luck and are actually quite delightful creatures, and tend to be omens of a life starting to move a little more quickly rather than stagnating.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eDraconic Elves – Part Dragon, part elf, all power... Their magickal traits and abilities are simply off the charts incredible. They flourish one finger and create the most amazing things. They wave a hand and block out negative energy and psychic attack like it was dandelion fluff in the breeze. And they're all so intensely warm, loving, caring and devoted that you'll never want to be without one by your side. They are completely white arts, they will NOT deal in justice, not launch attack at anyone, and won't do any 'dirty work' for you. They are completely benevolent, choosing to use their incredible abilities only for what's good. They do not correspond to the dragon colours as we know them, their abilities are static even though their scales are different colours depending on who you look at. All of them are incredibly psychic, make amazing astral journey teachers and guides and amplify spirit communication and interaction.
