I found myself talking to him like an old friend within the first couple of days, which does NOT happen for me often, and he was so patient and so warm about everything I said, even the rambling, half finished thoughts that didn’t go anywhere in particular (and there were a LOT of those, I’ll admit it). His kindness feels very old and very settled, like it’s simply the way he moves through the world and not something he has to stop and think about.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"color: #000000;\"\u003eOne of the things he does best is enhance your energy as it reaches out towards other people, so that you, and what you have to say, resonate more deeply and are so much more clearly heard. If you often feel like you fade into the background, or you walk away from conversations feeling like nobody quite took in what you said, or you just don’t have the sway you’d like to have to get yourself heard and actually appreciated, he can help with that SO much. Not long after he settled in with me I had a family dinner, the kind where I usually spend the whole evening getting talked over (it’s a loud family, I love them, but it’s LOUD), and I brought up a plan I’d been sitting on for months and the strangest thing happened... everyone stopped, and listened, and then they agreed with me, which almost never happens. I could feel him there the entire time, this steady warm pressure at my back, and my words felt like they were landing somewhere for once instead of floating off into all the noise. He seemed to take a great deal of pleasure in it afterwards too, I could feel how pleased he was with himself for the rest of the night and I think he likes seeing the people he cares about given the room they deserve.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"color: #000000;\"\u003eHe has ample protection abilities and his illusion magick is incredible, it’s layered and clever and it gives you so many options and ways to feel safe and secure in your own home and in your own skin. Around the home it works almost like a veil, tucking away the things that need to be kept hidden and turning the energy of your space dull and uninteresting to anyone you’d rather not have hanging around... the energy, I mean, he isn’t putting up fences or locking any doors, it’s a shift in how a space feels on an energetic level and he is VERY good at it. There was someone in my life who used to drop by uninvited and leave me feeling drained for days afterwards, and after I asked him to help, those visits got shorter, and then less frequent, until they more or less stopped altogether. Can I say for certain that was all him? No. But I know what I felt in the house every time that person was around, and it was him, wrapping the place up tight and making it feel like somewhere they didn’t want to linger.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"color: #000000;\"\u003eThe “in your own skin” part matters just as much to him. I went into a VERY busy shopping centre a few weeks in, on a day where I was already frazzled and not at all in the mood for crowds, and I asked him to cover me... and it was like walking through the whole place inside a soft bubble, everyone’s energy sliding right past instead of grabbing at me the way it usually does, and I came out the other side tired from the shopping but not wrung out the way I’d expected to be.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"color: #000000;\"\u003eHe is a ‘Tween Fae and that in-between nature runs all through him, he has a deep love for paths and doorways and the places where one thing turns into another, and he is a wonderful guide when it comes to astral travel, both into his own realm and into others. He also has a habit of pushing your boundaries, gently, but he does push... he wants you to accomplish more and see more and experience everything the world (the seen AND the unseen) has to offer, and he doesn’t seem to believe you’re as limited as you think you are. In one of my first meditations with him he led me along a narrow path through a hedge of briars that parted for him as he walked, right up to an old gate, and I stopped there, and he stood beside me waiting, not pulling at me in any way but very clearly expecting me to go through. Did I want to go through? Not even slightly. Did I go through anyway? Yes, and I’m SO glad I did, what was on the other side was soft and green and full of a kind of light I’ve been trying to describe to myself ever since (I won’t share all of it here, some of it feels like it belongs to him). He is always right there with you on these journeys, so you never feel lost, but he’ll always ask for that one extra step.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"color: #000000;\"\u003eHe guards secrets like the most valuable treasures in the universe, so share all of yours with him, the big ones, the silly ones, the ones you’ve never said out loud to another soul, and know they’ll be kept safe with him. He warms up a little more and a little more each time you trust him with something new... I tested that, I’ll admit, I told him something embarrassing from when I was about fourteen that I had never told ANYONE, and I felt the warmth of him flare up around me so strongly that I laughed out loud in my empty kitchen.
